Vols playing the the NBA Summer League

Tobias with the Bucks and Tatum are the only ones to my knowledge.

Dendy from MTSU is playing with the Wizards

I was browing over the rosters and a couple of players are playing for two teams. It's possible because it's spread out but I'm thinking it might be a typo or something.

I don't think Memphis has played yet. The Las Vegas league starts today I believe.

I'm not really sure what your post means but if your assuming that because Tobias has a nice contract and is out of his first year of the NBA that he don't really care about the pointless summer league, I would for sure disagree.

He probably cares just as much as Tatum does because the Bucks are making big time moves this offseason. With the injuries and the way things fell, he didn't produce with the money they paid him so he has a ton to prove IMO.

Nope. Not that I'm aware of. Last time I heard about Chism, he was playing in that Hungarian League.

Someone I found odd not to be in the D League was JuJuan Smith. He's played in the D League, Canada, Brazil and Spain. Last time I seen anything on him he was playing in Turkey but he's no longer with the team. I figured he was injured or something.

Memphis is on NBA TV now playing summer league game against Knicks. I haven't seen Tatum on the floor yet.

Neither have I. And I think Memphis just subbed in 5 guys a few minutes ago and he wasn't one of them. Not in the 10 man rotation on their summer league team doesn't sound too promising. He's gonna have to play lights out when he gets minutes.

It's expected. Summer League teams have too many players as it is. Tatum and about 7 other guys listed on the roster didn't see a minute of playing time. A bit unfair when 5 guys average over 25 minutes a game, the bench gets under 20 and than the rest barely grab a minute. He's going overseas but it's good experience for him being with those players.

Tobias with a big night last night! 24 points and 12 rebounds in a loss against the Wizards. The day six blog called him the non rookie of the day. I think that ends the summer league. Hopefully he has a better soph season than the last.

Summer league still has a while to go.

The Bucks played again last night. Tobes posted another double-double with 21 & 12.

t. Harris looks to be in incredible shape. Really growing into his man's body. He has easily been one of the most impressive guys in summer league.
