7-4 is realistic with the remaining schedule. Unless the offense and ST starts playing up to their potential it could get alot worse than that I'm afraid.

Hey dont put Vandy down i think its great they have won a few games. I think its neat that a hometown boy is doing well at running back for them. Jeff Jennings from Jefferson County High

whoever is saying we will only win 6 or 7 games needs to just leave. that is ridiulous. our defense is one the best in the nation. our offense will be fine.

the crowd in florida last nite won that game. we will beat lsu and may lose another close on to georgia or notre dame.

but 6 or 7 wins. when did u guys start watching ut football. i have seen florida beat us 35-0, and we still would only lose one game.

this is a major rivalry right here. and it is always close and sloppy.

urbans offense was not impressive at all. they didnt throw the ball down the field. our d is crazy good.

if we keep ainge in and quit this stupid qb controversy, we will dominate alot of teams.

just like the uab game. we have a few stupid mistakes and yall right the season off.

this is a vols site. but there are very few, true tennessee football fans in here.

hey checker have u seen our offense look this confused and just plain ole sucky in a long while. I hate to say it, but to me 6 or 7 wins is a successful year with this team right now. U gotta score points to win and right now we arent doing it and the games arent going to get any easier.

there is no way this team does that badly. too much talent.

fulmer has never won less than 8 in a season. and this team will not do worse than that. hell we won 8 or 9 with a.j. suggs.

we have played two games. one was sloppy against an underrated uab team. and one was in the freakin swamp, where a rowdy crowd roared that team to victory.

i hate to say it, but their fans have more passion than our fans. plain and simple. all we do is bitch and cry and they scream their asses off.

I'm with cbc....Last night was just a wicked bump in the road...We'll get past LSU this weekend and cruise....Florida may have beaten us last night, but I'll be danged if they play in the SECCG.....They will lose to LSU and UGA

hmmm.....well i guess we've officially spotted the fairweather fans on this board after 1 freakin' loss. everybody and their mother was saying how good we were gonna do this season and all of a sudden these people are saying 6-5 or 7-4 would be a good season???? apparently these people didnt see the same defense i saw saturday and 1 loss doesn't mean we are any less talented than before the season started. i will still say it, this is one of the most raw talented UT teams i've seen in a while, these guys are very good, they just had a rough time in a rough venue against a pretty good team. so here is to loving my VOLS FOREVER and pulling them through to a 10-1 season and a BCS berth.

LSU's offense looked horrid in their game against Arizona State. they were only able to muster 7 points through 3 quarters and Russell looked really bad. They'll have a tougher time than Florida did of scoring on the Vols defense. But this is the scary part.... LSU won the game because of special teams play.... and that is exactly how Tennessee lost to Florida.

Tennessee will beat Ole Miss, South Carolina, Memphis, Vanderbilt (yes), and Kentucky easily.

The Georgia game will be tough in Knoxville, but I believe the Vols will win it.

Fulmer owns Alabama.

The toughest game will be going up against Notre Dame in South Bend, however, if Michigan State can pull out a win... the Vols should do likewise.

We can deffinitly tell how true of a Vols fan you are. :crazy: :crazy:

Pay respect to your team and have faith, if they lose :cross: next week, then I will be saying we will be 9-2, anything that has the best possible outcome for the team.

10-1 it stands.

You know, as sheepish as it sounds, I think we could very well go 9-2 if we lose to LSU...I may be on crack big time, though...

I will keep having faith that our O will finally break out. I really do think it will happen but it may take another loss for the coaches to finally stop being so scared and start attacking with some more creative plays. (if they are capable that is & i think they have it in them somewhere deep down) I said 9-2, but I hope its 10-1 :thumbsup:

I am saying 7-4 and hoping for 8-3. To be honest it will take more than 5 days to straighten out the Offense as far as i see it . We always play incredible football late in the year. Yeah i know playing KY and Vandy helps, but still a true story.

Anything less than 9-3 in my mind is a disappointing year.

I think that with the way things are going, 8-3 seems reasonable. If we shape up we can still make it through the rest of the season without a loss.
