Look for him in the transfer portal. The kid had a fantastic game vs. UGA. He is a weapon. 8 punts, 50 yd. avg. long 66. One inside 5. RS-Soph.
WOULD YOU PEOPLE STOP! It was our kickers FIRST game playing American football in front of a loud, boisterous crowd. He spanked his first punt, did a little better on the second and was perfectly fine after that. I don't get what is wrong with your group. The coaches know more than you care to learn obviously.

No way!! I’m going the other way- starting a Jackson Ross for Heisman campaign (JRH).

Dude is a legit quadruple threat. He can throw or run on a fake punt. He has the 2nd best arm in town behind Joe, and ahead of Coach Heup per Ross. And I don’t know any Aussies that lie. And he has excellent foot speed for a Punter.

And we learned Sat. that he is an amphibious 😎 Punter, both right footed AND left footed. I thought Ross lost his mind when he rolled left to punt. But he was playing 3D chess and I was stuck on checkers. He booted it well with his left foot. As Bob Kesling would say (he once said it describing Mike Palardy): Ross is a left HANDED Punter.

So, JRH!! Who is with me?!?!

He improved as the game went on... if Heup trusts him, I will

one interesting dynamic here is with a mobile punter before he kicks if any "receiver" becomes wide up it may become easier to fake and pass before kicking - would have to happen fast but I've heard this other places before, the rugby style kickers have that advantage where faking becomes more possible

Personally, if never hurts to keep feelers out. The kid is much more unproven than he is proven. Obviously, making any decisions off of one game isn’t ideal, and I trust Heupel.

I'd hate to think of how you treat your kids after not being great at something on their very first try. Geez..
