No "most likely" about it. Frankly, I don't see a win with ZZ healthy. Only question is how bad will it be?

If we can keep the game in the 50's, we have an outside shot at an upset.

With our current shooting, we shouldn't have any trouble keeping our total in 50's.

With Zig out, unclear how we are going to hold the lizards under 60.

We going to be very motivated to win and I can't remember the last time we dropped 3 straight in conference? Off the top of my head I can't even remember the last time we dropped 2 straight at home either?

If AI is correct it was 2016-17 since either happened. We lost 3 straight with a road loss sandwiched in between two home losses.
Arkansas, FLORDIA, and then South Carolina.
We went on to lose 3 straight later that year but that bled over into the SEC tournament.

Edit **My Bad, I forgot we beat Mississippi State ( I'll leave the rest the info up anyways)
I also double checked on consecutive home games and (unless I missed something) I had to go back to 2019-20 season to find us losing two straight but one was out of conference (Wisconsin and LSU)

you could say that about every team that is long athletic and shoots the 3 well. Eventually we have to start beating those types, Mizzouri is the same thing as Florida

Lanier ran into a buzzsaw in league play. He's gone from conference leader to brick laying. Everybody talks about his quick release, but if you look at the angle he shoots from, he can't shoot that over a defender. He has to be open, and he doesn't work hard enough to get open or even act like he really wants the ball.

Nope we don't.
I took then last time we played. Like I said in the game thread that night, I was ashamed to admit I betted against us but we don't match up good with Flordia at all.
I usually never bet against the Vols out of superstition, but I had just won money off Lane Kiffin ( I knew he would run up the score on Duke) , so I was in the mood to bet. I probably brought some bad juju on us for doing that. My apologies. Aftet that Kentucky game/Zeigler injury scare, I repented sackcloth and ashes style to the Tennessee basketball gods. Hopefully it's enough to atone for my sins.
