Vols Start Season in Style, Down Xavier, 16-6, on Opening Day

The Tennessee offense was on full display on Opening Day, as the Volunteers started the 2010 campaign by cruising to a 16-6 triumph over Xavier at Lindsey Nelson Stadium on Friday. Junior Bryan Morgado earned the win with five solid innings of work, while six different players recorded at least two hits, led by newcomer Khayyan Norfork's four.

I don't know how good of a pitching staff Xavier has, but it is good to see that the vols scored in all but one inning (5th).

Xavier made a regional last year but i'm not sure who they returned from last season. Safe to say that they're a solid team though.
