After Kentucky and Tennessee combined to hit 12 home runs in the first two games of the series, the Volunteers used pitching, defense and small-ball to claim a 3-1 victory over the Wildcats on a hot and humid Sunday afternoon at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The win gives UT its second straight Southeastern Conference series victory as it has now won four of its last five league contests.

We are 3 games back of the 7th place team and 4 games back of the 6th place team (in the loss column). I think if we win 6 out of the last 9 SEC games, we're in.
