LSU used the entire back end of their pitching staff and every guy they brought in had better stuff than anyone on the UT staff. All of those guys looked the same, long, lean and loose, confident, velo in the low to mid 90s and good offspeed. UT will not be competitive in the SEC until they can get some of those guys.

Vols battled and played as well at they could. The bullpen just couldn't hold on. And to that end: 1. Why bring in a pitcher who has stuggled to hold leads all year and 2. Tough to bring Soto back after throwing 100 pitches in two appearances on only two days rest.

As usual the vols find a colossal gut punch proving to be the Michaelangelo at blowing leads and giving the big orange fans harrowing heartbreak.
You can't deny choking is a art and the baseball vols make it entertaining and not dull at all.

Same damn result as last season.
A year later I hope this communicates the major needs for this team to actually become a better team that has the weapons to win tournament games.
