Fans of the Tennessee baseball program will be able to get their first look at head coach Dave Serrano's first team this Friday when the Volunteers host a fall game against Western Carolina at 5 p.m. at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

I hear this team is actually being coached. Something that hasn't happened around here in baseball the past 4 years. Serrano will have this program among the elite in the SEC in a couple of years.

The release says that season tix will be for sale. When I go to UT Tix there is no info on baseball tickets. Any idea how much a pair of season tickets might be, tia?

I would have to go back and look, but I think General Admission is $125 and the bucket seats are $150. They gave out that info at Fan Day.

Thanks for the info, don't go to any trouble, just looking for ball park price, and that's darn reasonable, thanks!

Any idea of how long it will last?

The link says...

"The format of the contest will be a controlled scrimmage with both teams working on specific situational plays throughout. A total of eight Tennessee pitchers are scheduled to throw"

I'm not sure if I will be down there till 6:45 or so.

Looks like a 12 inning "game". Would last about 2 and half hours at least.

I went to batting practice, then to the pep rally. By then my three year old had had enough, or maybe I'd had enough of him lol. So how did the team play?

You were exactly right. They also have a deal they call Flex 20 for $70. You get 20 Gen. Adm. Tix that are good for any game.

I usually can't get to the mid week games and I don't generally go to all three weekend games, so that option might be good for me and other folks in similiar situations. FWIW
