Ho hum, same old stuff, much like last time.

"Tennessee knocked off Alabama. Fans got all excited, sprang from their seats and reconvened on Shields-Watkins Field. Dr. Danny, happy with the triumph but alarmed by the celebration, may find it necessary to tack another special fee onto ticket costs to pay the $100,000 fine." Marvin spins the tale like nobody else can. READ IT! It's educational, like John Ward's announcing. ART.

I thought the first "offense" of storming the field was $250,000? Totally worth it for a "measley" $100,000

I must say I did enjoy that group of Girls on the Field singing: "I said it's great to be a Tennessee Vol"!! Yep.

Totally unnecessary after doing it 2022. Drunk young people have no self-control - shocking!
Recruits and player families start running onto the field, then a few minutes later, the students. Also, my 7 year old got to stand on the field after the game and he’s told everyone about it. Good memory for him. Hope you can make more in your life

Should have clarified. I have no problem with being on the field as long as nobody gets hurt. I used to run the length of that same field as a kid when it was artificial turf. I do have a problem with destroying property that costs the school in repairs and fines. Yes, relatively small beans but guess who the cost of all that gets passed on to?

I don’t think it warranted charging the field but so be it. Enjoy it, life is short. The ones beaching about it don’t understand that those in their early 20’s and younger have never witnessed TN beating Bama two out of three yrs.

They have the $$$. Plus, I’m sure a donor will write a check or AD will collect donations to offset costs.

The electric atmosphere before, during and after the game will pay for itself as recruits took notice. Plus, players in the portal will be reminded of the special opportunity to play in front the most passionate fan base in the country.
