Reading through all of the allegations on Yahoo about the whole Miami fiasco, I came across a bounty that was paid out to Cornelius Green in our loss to Miami.

"A $500 bounty for holding Tennessee to a field goal after the Volunteers had a first-and-goal at Miami’s 4-yard line. The game – played on Nov. 9, 2002 – ended in a 26-3 win for the Hurricanes."

It is amazing the sheer number of pictures, receipts and witness accounts of all of these wrong doings. There is no light at the end of Miami's tunnel for certain!

One of the worst games I've ever watched as a Vol fan. So many fumbled snaps.

And here are some additional allegations for two of Alabama's current coaches that served on Miami's staff at that time, Stoutland and Pannunzio. And another on Florida's staff, Hill.

Allegations: Joe Pannunzio - Investigations - Yahoo! Sports

Allegations: Aubrey Hill - Investigations - Yahoo! Sports

Although it doesn't sound like these coaches were part of the hands on corruption, the fact that they are knowingly bringing recruits to a booster's home is unbelievable!

I don't know... Was that the game where Kellen Winslow cheap-shotted one of our players and then stood over him gloating as he laid injured on the field?

The 2003 game in Miami. Then he went on his famous "i'm a f'n soldier" rant.

Sounds like the opposite to me. If they were bringing recruits over to Shapiro's home, that suggests that they knew what was going on there. Those thee, plus Clint Hurtt, need to start updating their resumes.

I see what you're saying but I was thinking more along the lines that they have not been implied in money and gift exchanges with the recruits. Of course, their actions are still unspeakable. Regardless, it is very bad for those guys.

i always thought of a bounty was when you tried to hurt or kill someone
not keep a point total down. Randy sanders deserved some of that loot

Currently watching The U on ESPNU. They are covering the bounties Miami paid for big plays....in the 80's and 90's. Been going on there for a long time.

Miami deserves SMU-esque treatment. Seriously. This is worse that what they did.

This isn't worse than SMU.
Nothing will ever top an organized payroll, with the sitting governor of the state having knowledge of the corruption.
