First pitch at 7:00pm. If you are thinking of coming to the game, wear green and get in for free.

Looking at Morehead State's schedule, they lost a close game at Kentucky, 5-2 and beat Purdue in Evansville, 9-8.

Starting for the Eagles will be left-hander Tyler Hieneman, a 6-3 sophomore with a 1-1 record and a 5.40 ERA.

Rob Catapano will take the mound for the Vols.

Great start by the Vols. Grand slam by Osbourne. I'm at the game and there are literally 100 people here haha. Go Vols!

Vols win 13-2...only gave up 3 hits the entire game....the pitching is looking very nice....hard to believe Hawn isn't putting up bigger numbers after last year's .364-22-81 line....he really needs to heat up for the Vols to have a chance to win SEC series....Hobock or someone else...is the shoulder injury still holding him back?

He played first base tonight for the first time since the injury.

That's good...that lets Hamaker get in at DH....just surprising to see Osborne have more HRs and RBIs than Hawn...and Forsythe hitting under .230....both of thse two things are very surprising to me

In its final tune-up before beginning the Southeastern Conference portion of its schedule, the University of Tennessee baseball team (10-7) scored early and often en route to a 13-2 triumph over Morehead State on St. Patrick's Day at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The Volunteers scored 10 runs in the first two innings to put it out of reach in a hurry. The UT pitching staff did the rest, as six pitchers combined to allow just three hits and two runs all night.

TigerVol...if they continue to pitch this well I think they can start doing much better because the hitting is going to eventually come around

I've heard excuses and "if this" thinking for the last 2+ seasons with continual midweek embarassments. Please excuse my skepticism, but I'll believe it when I see it.
