Oh young grasshopper, much to learn you have.

The Vol navy is always a blast. We would get off work at Calhouns and walk around getting free eats and drink before games. Something to be said about people willing to spend all that time on their boat to come watch the game. Best part is when there are a couple home games in a row many will just stay tied up and live out there.

One of the best places to experience the UT pregame atmosphere.

I'm with PJ on this one. The Vol Navy is one of the greatest football traditions in the country. It amazes me the money and effort that people are willing to employ in order to maximize the gameday experience. The boats are huge and the people are very accomodating. The addition of the Volunteer Princess this year should just amplify the celebration.

I'm hoping to christen my small (albeit very orange) boat this year.

It is different experience that is for sure. A lot of drinking and loud music. But, the cruise up the river is what it is all about.
