I asked the board a while back about Vonage and found out some info recently. My buddy signed up. It offers long distance in USA and Canada .You can set it up to ring your cell phone if no one answers the homephone after several rings.Clear sound. No contracts. Less than 30.00 a month. I plan to get it next month.

I'm in the process of moving out... I'm not going to get a home phone service, just sticking with a cell phone service.

 No. I've got one of my own. And I'm moving from Hillsboro to Portland.

Just so you know Milo, cell service in Phoenix is terrible. However, Tempe is the first city in the US with total wi-fi coverage. So you get a little and give a little.

My cell cuts out all over (but it is a Nextel). Everyone I know drops their calls in the most traveled parts of town, like where our 2 busiest freeways come together.

The wi-fi is cool though.

Hm, I am on Sprint which is the same network as Nextel. I get great reception for the most part.

Are you sure that there isn't at least one cell service with at least decent coverage?

I'll do some investigating at work to see what others use and let you know next week.
