I was not familiar with them until I saw it noted somewhere else. Interesting combination.

Oxford is a cute little town. But I'll still take Knox. Oxford is my favorite SEC town, besides Knox.

Looks like I'll be spending a lot more time hanging out in Chattanooga.

Re: the Garden & Gun Magazine name, the magazine is based in Charleston, SC and is supposedly named for a disco club of the same name that used to be located there. Which of course seems just as strange a name for a disco as a magazine.

Pretty accurate. The original driving force behind the magazine is Rebecca Wesson Darwin, who moved to Charleston from New York. She was the first female publisher of New Yorker and had also been an executive at GQ.

The magazine highlights the interesting culture of the South--you know, beautiful Southern gardens, rugged outdoor sporting life...

The old Garden and Gun Club, which had a pretty interesting past itself, is now Hank's, one of the top upscale seafood restaurants in the south.

So a clump of trees is more scenic than a huge stadium located on the banks of the Tennessee River. Don't freaking think so.

Wouldn't call it that, but lord if people could get off of The Grove's nuts. Like I get it but there's other very nice college stadiums and surrounding areas.
