I voted for Chattanooga but Port Angeles looks cooler right now. You all better come up with better pics and attractions besides the rivers and the mountains.

Chattanooga ended up winning the contest. Now I will be the first to say that Chattanooga is far from perfect but there isn't a city out there that is. I am proud to say I am from here. We have a wide range of activities that could suit a lot of different life styles. The growth this town has shown in the almost twenty years I have been here is awesome. Kudos to Chattanooga and it's leaders for winning this award/contest.

Chattanooga really has transformed itself into a cool town. They've done a great job modernizing, and Knoxville could learn a few things from what they've done.

I'm proud to say that I live in Chattanooga. I love this city and all that it offers. Everyday that I drive home from work I get a gorgeous view of the Tennessee River on my right, along with the mountains in front and to the left of me! I'm approximately 2 hours away from Knoxville, 2 hours away from Atlanta, and 2+ hours away from Nashville. There's quite a lot to do in our fair city, especially if you're into outdoor activities. Cost of living is relatively inexpensive. Our economy and culture is diverse, and in general people are very friendly! I wouldn't want to live anywhere else to be honest.

The downside? Too many Georgia and Bama fans!!!! :)

all I know about Chattanooga,is the traffic sucks during rush hour on the Interstate and it gets foggy as hell on that Interstate too :)

Growing up, Chatt was a dump. Amazing transformation but I miss the seedy little town I grew up in.
We had a great punk rock scene back in the 80s.

Port Angeles has large banners set up for people to come by and sign. They'll ship them to Chattanooga.

The support from the rest of the country is overwhelming.
