I agree, but that doesn't have to mean the Bradshaw is in last place. I really wish ESPN would stop including our players in these polls since they aren't getting the national TV attention in the first place.

Well, I can't figure out which is worse. Is it leaving them out all together or putting them in when nobody outside of Tennessee knows who they are due to the lack of coverage? :question:

screw it, i voted for Dane. though the lead for the autistic kid is insurmountable at this point...kudos.

we are geting plenty of media coverage, last year we only got even our highlights on if it was against a top 25 teams. I like how our fans are already greedy, calling 18,000 small, complaining about lack of media coverage even though we are talked about every night, complaining about fans, c'mon guys do I need to show you guys the Buzz Peterson era again to make you guys happy?

I wasn't one complaining about 18,000 being small, but it doesn't fill up TBA. As for the TV coverage, how many games have we played on national television this year? Yep, thanks for playing.

I know there is nothing to be done about it this year and you're right, next year will probably be better.

I was just pointing out that Bradshaw is probably in last place because most of the nation doesn't even know who he is or what he did. Most of the nation probably doesn't even know what kind of team we have.

I guess that mattvols just didn't understand what I was getting at and...

I pity the fool who takes comments out of context...

go to a message board out of volnation.com, and there is plenty talk about how solid of a team we are, we get more coverage then almost any other teams outside of the top 10. We are getting plenty of converage, every team has a player like bradshaw and he never gets talked about for any of them, its a shame but has nothing to do with media coverage.

....but I still wouldn't consider 2 games on national TV this season some sort TV coverage marathon...

you never know what the talk is and how other teams precieve you if you only go on Vol boards. You dont have to resort to being a smartalic making a dumb reply like "you're the expert" if i'm wrong show me how i'm wrong dont make a dumb comment like that.

I don't even know what we're talking about anymore. I made a simple point and you made it into something else. Therefore I can only bow to your board sources and experience and let you have the expert title. What's wrong with a being an expert anyway?

So if I go to a Michigan board and ask them who Dane Bradshaw is....they'd know??

no, they wouldnt. Alot of people in Tennessee don't even realise his role on the team. I was saying every one knows what this team has done, and what they are, you said the nation doesnt know what kind of team we are. Check the message board in my sig that I post at and ask them about UT basketball or any other board for that matter. No, they won't know who Dane Bradshaw is because he is like the offensive lineman in football, one of the most important players but doesnt get any credit or media attention. Most teams have a player like him and they dont get noticed due to their role, thats a shame but its a fact.

Hey, Yahoo broacast the last couple, we're big time baby!! It's about the only way I get to watch.

On a side note, I did just watch the Zags lose to U of San Fran who is 11-16 now. Don't they have the same mascot as Hawaii? :p
