We rescued our Golden Retriever "Sutton" from Tennessee Valley Golden Retriever Rescue here in Knoxville. As a puppy, he was discarded by a breeder because he only has one eye, and was found in a ditch with bite marks all over his head.
He made it through, but had really bad seizures. Like 4-5 times a day.
Long story short, he needed an MRI, which was way outside of what we could afford. TVGRR took him to UT and payed for everything. We were told Sutton only has half a brain, and likely wouldn't make it. We put him on seizure medicine, and a few months ago he was one year seizure free!!
We want to pay back TVGRR so badly, but we really just don't have the resources. We've entered Sutton into a contest, the rescued dog with the most votes gets a huge donation for the place he was rescued from. If you don't mind taking the time, click the link and vote.
