I guess voters have been struck with a stange type of amnesia that causes them to forget which party had control of the White House and both chambers of Congress from 2000-2006.

True Republicans are very fiscally responsible. Too bad pretty much every Republican that wants to go back to true fiscal conservatism is ignored and the ones that spend like Democrats (Bush) are elected.

it's high time everybody can see, neither party is worth a damn.

Totally agree. Too many people vote Rep. or Dem. just because of their party. They are too dumb to notice that neither have the best interests of the country at heart.

The bottom line is that it isn't about the parties any more. It's about marketing and passing the press test. Individual politicians just happen to be historically lame at this point.

I'm done with parties. I want less government, period.

You're really about to be "at the wrong place at the wrong time."

The less government=The best government. Someone of somewhat importance said something to that tune, I can't remember who though.

The Bush administration's policies also got us into a pointless war and led us into the worst economy since the Great Depression.

not really but even if true why is our fearless leader doing the exact same stuff that prolonged the great depression? Unless WWIII breaks out this is going to turn out badly for everyone

1. What the hell does the Iraq War have to do with not being attacked since 9/11? I am pretty sure the attackers were Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda, speaking of which, W. never caught.
2. Further, the Iraq War was started because of oil and a grudge W. held against Saddam for trying to assassinate George, Sr.
3. Who is Hussein?
4. I never said Obama was my boy, I think some of his socialistic ideas are stupid.

Let me guess, "If he wanted oil, he could have attacked Saudi Arabia."

No, if he wanted oil he would have confiscated the oil wells and they would be pumping oil for us not the Iraqis. It would probably be a good idea to do this though, at least in this way we could recoup some of our losses incurred fighting this war.
