Wow some Vol fans are completely out of touch with reality. Where Bama has the advantages: QB, RB, WR, TE, OL, DL, LB, special teams and coaching. I think we have a slight advantage in the DB department and possibly kicking game.

i love how some vols fans love to just bend over for bama, oh they are so good we gonna lose, who cares how good they are i don't and i refuse to bow down to alabama at any time. they are good, so what i ain't bowing down to them or saban. LET'S GO VOLS!!!

Ridiculous...we have by far a better OL, we are even at RB, and I wouldn't even write off our WRs compared to theirs. Not sure we have an advantage at DB, but we are pretty good there.

Don't forget conditioning. Put the Oregon game aside, and our team plays at a high level for all 4 quarters this year. No tiring out early. Butch and Lawson have done an amazing job with keeping the team in top form shape for the SEC.

UT's best shot probably has more to do with health than anything else. The Vols are amazingly healthy for this point in the season. The only guy I can think of who was lost for the season due to injury that would have been really nice to have is Ayres at TE.

At the beginning of the season I probably would have given Bama an edge or lead everywhere except maybe a push at OL. According to posts here, they have had some significant injuries and may even pull a RS off of a Fr DE. I don't see UT's DB's being better however UT has gotten very good LB, DL, OL, and RB play.

Still the biggest things are that the Vols have remained remarkably healthy and have continued to improve weekly.

If this team could get a "re-do"... a restart to the season... they probably enter this game 6-1 with the one loss a much closer game vs Oregon.

I actually think we have an advantage with our DL vs their OL given how they're playing right now. IF Bama has weakness, it's their young OL.
