reported to be a white male, 6 foot, wearing flip flops... sounds like a false alarm. I would wear sneakers if I went on a rampage

Some children apparently saw the guy and reported that they think he might have a gun but their idiot parents hadn't armed their kids so that they could have shot and killed him. You know, just in case they were right.

By all means hope that it turns out to be a false alarm. Just coincidental we had discussion yesterday on this very topic where some real brainiacs in the politics forum were lamenting the fact that more college students don't carry handguns with them everywhere they go.

Just brilliant.

"We" didn't have that discussion, and you can keep your left wing agenda drivel in the Politics forum. I'm not entertained.

I gotta be honest LG. I love the banter between you and I, but I'm really at a loss right now. You see, I've been tearing through my office the last 3-4 minutes and frankly sir, I can't find a single damn to give you, regarding your opinion of me.

Oh and grammar/punctuation corrections are for the JV squad. Be better than that.

To be honest, I don't know if there is actually a gunman or this is the result of some paranoia. I know at home a few months ago (home is ~45 minutes from Blacksburg) the big mall was evacuated for several hours due to a suspected gunman that turned out to be a guy with a black umbrella. I think the area's still got some residual worry from the event.

I can't blame them for being safe, though. My girlfriend went to Tech and a lot of my friends are still there, so I'd rather them be safe than sorry.

Really? As a lawyer, or at least law student, you don't understand the fervor of people choosing to exercise their Constitutional right to bear arms?

Someone took their Flintstones for Hyperbole today.

Clearly laws prohibiting guns will prevent murderous psychopaths from going on rampages. I mean homicide is one thing, but nobody messes with this no carry laws. Serious business.
