Tech up 28-21 going into the 4th. I'm surprised this game is close. I always pull for anybody playing VA Tech. Go Monarchs!

The series has already been extended beyond the three games. Hampton Roads is a hotbed for recruiting. It’s a free recruiting trip for the Hokies.

Blake LaRussa and Williams have repeatedly flipped back and forth at qb, both always looking crappy. This was fantastic. This was amazing. I was working on my Masters in Sports Management at ODU when we were first bringing in donations for the football program to be rebooted. I worked so many fundraisers for the program. Got to sit in on soooo many planning meetings. The first recruiting class showed up shortly after I graduated. I’ve been a season ticket holder for five years.

Yeah you are right...
Landing a single home game against the Hokies was an accomplishment, back when a deal was reached in 2012. Extending the series home-and-home to bring the Hokies to Norfolk six times from 2018 to 2031 was a scheduling coup of the highest order.
