Is Mike Slive waiting too long to get on the move to add larger programs to the SEC? The Pac 12, 14, 16, or whatever it is are on their way to maximizing the deal and the ACC now getting the ball rolling. Is the SEC hanging it's hat on A&M and Mizzou??

I the SEC aren't careful, the Big 10 will be motivated to make a move and the SEC will miss out on Mizzou.

I think the SEC has to wait for Texas OU moves first (the essential falling apart of the big 12) before they would go after mizzou

I think there might have been something about the conference not "poaching other members of the big 12" or the incoming litigation was going to get worse

But yes, the big 10 getting in motion would likely make a move more difficult

There are only Three large programs out there to get: Texas, Oklahoma, and Notre Dame. The rest are 2nd tier in the SEC.

It seems like we're running out of teams to add. It'll be interesting to see where the SEC goes with this.

Really? They have a following of zombies, but 1st Tier?

ND is a sitting time bomb. Their Endowment is $6.8 Billion. That's more than double all eleven schools combined in the State University System of Florida.

Slive already has teams lined up, probably several alternates as well. He's just waiting for the right moment (which appears to be approaching).

I agree. The SEC will be fine. As far as those big three, none will happen. We probably wouldn't want Texas, Oklahoma wouldn't come to the SEC, and Notre Dame is Big 10 or nothing IMO.
