Yeah I know, this might not be an eventful game at all, but it is one of the best offenses in CFB last year with also a defense so bad that even Vanderbilt would have scored 30 against them...so this could be a fun game.

And this would be a chance to for Wake Forest to prove that their defense is actually decent rather than just a product of who they have played.

It's 7-0 IU but the Hoosiers just threw a pick in the end zone that Wake returned.

IU's..either QB or DB goes down with an injury (not that they have depth to afford injury at either position).

And a TD pass makes it 21-7 Wake Forest with less than a minute left in the first half.

IU scores again but in the last minute it's not enough. Wake Forest wins this game 33-28.

For the Demon Deacons - as bad as they have been, going 4-20 in the ACC their last 3 years - they're sitting at a 4-0 that likely no one expected, and with an OOC game against Army left, Clawson only needs one win against a team like NCState, Syracuse, a terrible UVA, or Boston College to get the Demon Deacons to their first bowl game since 2011.

Indiana, on the other hand - who last year just saw their first bowl game in 8 years - falls to 2-1, and with a now 9-conference Big 10 slate, are going to have to pull off 4 more conference wins to see another bowl game. This was a team that returned to a bowl after losing disappointingly in close games to teams like Michigan, Iowa, OSU by scores of 41-48, 27-35, and 27-34...and now they might have to upset one of those big teams just to reach 6 wins (if not, then they have to win out against Purdue, Northwestern, Maryland, and Rutgers...if they drop one of those games, it's going to become quite an uphill battle).

I'm really enjoying Wake doing well. Dad was an alum and we went to a bunch of games together.
