Terrible look for Forbes imo. Never air dirty laundry, even if it's frustrating. Just suck it up and move on to the next kid.
I disagree. He looks like a standup type calling out those who meddle and mess up options. It wasn’t “dirty laundry”. Mebbe the next kid won’t trust snakes so readily.

Hard to determine 100% facts from that article.... at least in my opinion. I don't fully trust Forbes either but I'd agree all this stuff is the "New Normal" (don't care for that phrase but maybe it fits). I have no clue about the kids family situation but ideally that's the best way to avoid all the "Philistines in the grass" is raise a solid kid from a grounded family (kinda rare these days) who will mature once in college with the watchful eye of PARENTS!. And assist him in making good decisions.

I actually enjoyed reading that. I am sure it's happening a lot more than we'll ever know. I didn't think Forbes came across bitter or over the top in that. Seemed like just really frustrated with one person in particular and I bet it has a strong effect on that guy's ability to sign future players if this Australian route doesn't go well for Bobi.

I see it differently and I'm sure others do too. This happens often and you never see coaches saying anything publicly, for a reason. It's a bad look for Forbes and the program. Even if you feel you've not been dealt with in a good manner, throwing a fit in public about it is never a good look.

It just boils down to Forbes being mad they invested time and the player and his agent went another direction. Forbes makes millions to navigate these waters. Whining doesn't help.

I didn’t see a “fit” or “whining”. Guess that’s where we’re at.

IMO, this whole deal (college sports) primarily B & F Ball have became sleazy on the outer edges. As fans we have to become dumb, stick your head in the sand, to be like its all about student competition and representing a University. To keep getting the joy of fanhood once the curtain is pulled back it takes all the fun out of it. When in all actuality its getting closer to WWE antics. Gone are the days that a guy grew up wanting to play for his state or be a legacy on his relatives team. Gone are the days guys hung around 4 to 5 years and became almost like kin. Its all about the sleazy under world of guys hardly anybody knows except the player and his family and the coaches that have to bargain with the devil and some of them being a bit devilish themselves.

I just hope WVU’s transfer guys don’t go to UK. I don’t know why that was my first thought, but Battles and Edwards would suck.

Tons of schools are filling up and UK has tons of spots

Don’t care about Kerr lol

While I don’t disagree, you might need to get some air
