now if gray can just get back in the game, i think coach k was discussing getting gray out of the game with a ref earlier

I guess you missed Redick's drive at the end of the half, where he got tossed on the ground by Williams...no call. Wake Forest is losing because they aren't working the ball inside to Williams, not because of the refs.

there were a ton of soft calls on wake in that game, not to mention a ton of no calls on duke, i'm sorry but you will never convince me that when duke plays anyone they don't have the refs in their back pockets. and you must have missed when reddick was not even touched, literally not touched but still somehow got fouled. yes we got tired, but the screwjob gray got to have to be taken out of the game hurt a lot

I don't have to convince you. Have fun watching Wake next week...or year.

Wake must have gotten screwed over by the refs all year then, huh? To the tune of 5 ACC wins (including the tourney.)

As for Redick not getting touched, yes bad call. As for Redick getting called for blocking instead of a charge being called on Strickland (the play Redick was injured on,) bad call. Refs do not think about what they are doing, they just make react to what they see. And yes, sometimes they miss calls, and the missed calls usually level out throughout the game.

the argument is not the rest of the year, yeah, they sucked with no point guard, the argument is duke getting a crazy amount of the calls or not being whistled... it happens and it always has. ask anyone who watched laettner kill the guy that was guarding him when he made the shot to beat kentucky.

on that note, this argument is done, i made that comment midgame after the phantom foul on reddick. wake lost because of a lack of ball handlers, it sucks but it happens.
