Waking up Monday morning like…

This has been a great year. I am just having trouble getting the what the hell happened thoughts out of my mind. Before some smart azz says we lost, I know that. I just wonder was it lack of preparation, did the players think SC would just roll over and give up, did we believe everything that was being said and written about us? What hurts the most is what could have been. SMH GO VOLS!

Once in a twenty year loss I agree now a new generation understands our LSU sec championship loss, hopefully Beamer isn’t the new Saban..
Ummm no Beamer is not Saban, not even close. Ask Florida or Mizzou or Clemson after this week. Typical Vols to let a qb who has been trash all year have a career day

I’m w you @Vol524. I am still not over this loss and continue to torture myself by reading every article about TN choking Vs USCjr. I even read Paul Finebaugh’s comments, 😣.

I admit that I am a glass “half-empty” person when it comes to Vols’ sports. So going into Saturday, I didn’t think USC Trojans or TCU would lose a game, meaning TN would remain #5. Well, it doesn’t matter now with our loss so watch USC or TCU lose a game. I hope not as that woukd be adding salt into the wound!

Hopefully the players learned a life lesson that “team” Comes before “self.” That is a difficult concept to live for anyone, esp athletes.

I won’t repeat yesterday’s comments, however, I hope this team squashes the “💩” today and rally behind Milton against Vandy. They better have a great week of practice as Vandy is amped up for this game and thinks they can win.

Last Saturday night was an inexcusable defensive effort, yes effort, but hopefully they changes as TN won’t put up as many points as prior weeks.

GO VOLS!

I get that Beamer is just starting out Kirby has been established.. currently on a 6gm losing streak.
I will not be surprised if USC gets shut down on offense this week at Clemson. They certainly did vs Mizzou and gators. Beamer is no coaching savant. Sadly we were just their out of nowhere go nuts game… well, maybe our db s played a big roll there…

Do you seriously think the only ones pissed don't know about the LSU loss?

LSU was in the SEC championship game. They were a legitimate foe.

South Carolina was trying to keep from going to the Mayo Bowl again.

He's coaching at USCjr, not Alabama, Georgia, or LSU. He's never going to be the next big thing.

This loss was about UT not taking the game seriously enough and preparing properly, not anything that Beamer did.

I was bothered by the talk all week how Hyatt was going to go off on SC because they didn't recruit him....🙄
Boy that aged well didn't it.
I think the offense had every intention to go off in that game. The defense however, had other plans. Certainly didn’t do them any favors.
