Besides have a cool name, this kid (6-1, 235 RS FR) looks like he could become a potential contributor down the road. He put up impressive numbers his junior year at Chattanooga Central (112 tackles, 13 TFL, 4 sacks) and was doing well as a senior (56 tackles) when he sustained a knee injury halfway through the season, which led to ACL surgery.

Reported a 4.69 40 time and 335 bench press heading into his senior year. The son of Ukrainian immigrants, he's said to have an outstanding work ethic and he boasted a 3.9 GPA in high school.

Pretty solid #'s for a linebacker. His 40 speed is pretty good, let's just hope his quickness after planting is where it needs to be, but I would take a walk-on with those statistics anyday!

I played for Chattanooga Central in 1947-49 when Central was in the mix for state champ every year. They turned out lots of good player such as Lamar wheat and Bob McCoy, when I was there. The coach was hall of famer Red Etter and Stanley Farmer. Maybe this guy comes from the same stock.

Go big Orange!!!

That translates into 5'11" 215 in real life. Listed roster height and weight are often useless.
How many college players shrink 2 inches at the NFL combine?

So I guess that means D. Green about 5'10" about 185 and Lawson 6' and 230 and so on and so forth. Wow this is a small class this year.

With a name like that he will probably end up playing for the bears.

I am stoked about another good LB at UT.
