True...but you gotta get awfully close. Not a scenario you want, especially if facing multiple zombies. You do have a point though, when possible saving bullets and using an edged weapon or better still a bow (where you can retreive the arrow/bolt) makes perfect sense. (or at least as much as any zombie observation would make sense )
