I think the phrase "one team wanted it more than the other" is overused, but that might have been the case today.

That doesn't include Melvin Goins, I can tell you that much, he played his heart out. Harris was solid as well but once again didn't touch the ball enough in the second half.

Of the dozens of flaws today, this is not on the list. This team played hard today.

It didn't show in the last two mins......Uk is on the floor and Scotty and Tobias are hoping the ball comes to them. We absolutely got out toughed at the end.

I don't buy that. This team just is limited in what it can do.

Going played some solid D today, no question. Hit a pretty big 3 if I remember correctly as well.

Getting on the floor and not giving up on the plays were problems today. UK's knees are floor burned from the hustle. That last rebound, only one doing anything was Tatum. Scotty and Tobias stood and watched while Jones and Harrellson wrestled Tatum for the ball.

We had stretches of effort, and Goins did give all he had, but KY owned that last 5:00.

I do agree with the lack of firepower. While I applaud S. Pearl's effort, he couldn't do the laundry on KY's team.

Thank you. I will give it up for Goins. He did his part and then some.
