The Ukrainian government considers Donetsk, Luhansk, Crimea, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson to be oblasts of Ukraine occupied by foreign invaders/oppressors. War in Ukraine: official website | MFA of Ukraine

Zelensky is saying freedom will return to his people but, until then, he's going to ridicule their suffering. During the Holocaust, there was a lack of food in the concentration camps, but you know who wasn't starving? The oppressors. None of the guards were emaciated and starving. For him to not only cause a lack of water in Crimea but then mock people doing without water when he knows Ukrainians are last in the pecking order in Russian-controlled regions says a lot about the guy. It's no wonder the Mossad guy on Israel Now News was verbally tearing into Zelensky the other day.

There are russian soldiers in those "countries". Those "countries" did not, or would not exist without those soldiers.

Those are the historical facts. Please point to any of those existing in the modern era without the involvement of an outside third party. Because every example has been AFTER Russia, soviets for Transnistria, got involved.

The soviet union collapsed at the end of 1991. Transnistria got violent and deadly jn late 1990, before the collapse of the USSR. So there is a link to the Soviet era.

When things got worse in 1992 the now Russians were already in Transnistria. They never left after the fall of the Soviets. The Russians didnt have to fly in elements of the 14th army. They were already there. And you might want to look at what Russian VP Rutosky did as well. He gave a speech telling Transistria to fight for their freedom with his troops already there helping to arm the locals. That plus there deployment in several battles they played key rolls even without directly fighting.

As I said, and you keep denying, Transistria would not exist without the Russian/Soviet interference in a local affair.

I dont see anyway to argue that Transnistria would exist without the occupying Russians, who are still there 30 years later.

I will still play Pong given the chance, not sure I ever played Missile Command, at least on Atari. Pretty sure I played something similar with better graphics on computer though

Transnsitria wanted to be separate from Moldova in the late 1980s due to the rise of Moldova nationalism. Transnsitria was ethnically and culturally different as it consisted of Russians, Ukrainians and Moldovans who lived in peace and had no desire for Moldovan nationalism or to become part of Romania. That is a fact.

Transnsitria has been governing itself for 30 plus years now and is doing just fine NOT being a part of Moldova. For some reason that bothers you guys and gals.

The whole region was overrun by Russians ... when they were "Soviets". Don't you think dissolving an "empire" and leaving squatters in place changes things? If Russia took back the "Soviets" they planted in places all over the USSR, you and the rest of us know there wouldn't be much movement anywhere to "rejoin" Russia.

So as usual Brucey is ignoring context to attempt to make an idiotic incorrect point. The Crimea remarks in question occurred in 2015. Zelensky was a private citizen and more specifically a comedian. All that video clip shows is his comedy routine. He didn’t even announce his candidacy until December 2018. So I really see no relevance is a comedian doing dark humor well before he even declared his candidacy. Speculating here but he might not have even thought to run for the job yet in 2015 it was a shocker he won
