War in Ukraine

Went to Pilot this morning to get a cup of coffee and the cashier asked if I wanted to donate to the Ukraine fund that Pilot has recently joined in on.

Where was this showing of charity when we bombed the Middle East to rubble?
Have you seen Patrick Lancaster's YouTube channel? He's a western journalist reporting currently in Donbass.

The leadership in the United States and The West showed their incompetence by them having to scramble to get oil from Venezuela, the Iranians and the Saudis. The same for the UK when they had to go begging the UAE and Saudi Arabia late last week. You don't make these sorts of economic moves and then discuss this with back up sources of energy after the fact. This was an emotional and erratic series of bumbles by The West. They did not have a back up plan or even a Plan A it appears.

Russia would be giving up on the war they are currently winning.
So in the negotiations before the war, that Russia was not a direct party involved with, Russia was willing to give up a war they would win if Ukraine just gave them, a third party not an active member of the Minsk treaties, land?

Yeah that just shows that Russia was not negotiating in good faith if a war thet planned on winning was on the table.

I guess they were listening to you and didn't think Russia was actually going to invade.

US/NATO want the carnage in Ukraine...no surrender, no ceasefire...pure evil

What does NATO have to do with Ukrainian decisions to fight here? I mean we wanted to get him into exile where he was safe.... No. The people could have simply embraced their invaders and begged for mercy..... But they fight on.

I'm under no illusion that the west has pure motives but I understand Russia does not either. All these people did was decide they didn't want to live under Putin's thumb.

Should any US state that wishes to leave the US be treated in a similar manner?

Which attack did NATO launch in Ukraine?

Doesn't matter at this point. Russia is winning, will win and the only remaining unknown at this point is how many extra casualties are worth the West's pride? Unless NATO gets involved militarily, which looks very unlikely at this point.

They may end up facing facts that help isn't coming...

It appears Zelensky is an owned man. He will do as instructed by the West and they are instructing more carnage, more death. Ukrainian lives mean nothing to them. When Madeline Albright was asked if half a million dead Iraqi kids lives were worth it, she said the price was worth it. These people are ghouls.

Hey, I'm all good with that and I'd probably have the same mindset.

But it's not worth American lives to help.
Where have I called for American boots on the ground? It's possible to call out Putin as the prick that he is and condemn his actions and NOT expect (or want) us to send troops.
