War in Ukraine

It's war and destroying your enemy is winning.

Agreed, but Ukraine will be one of those cases where you have to wipe out an entire population or those left will make the occupation miserable - peace by genocide. Russia doesn't seem to be able to eliminate the entire Ukrainian population by conventional means, Russian "winning" would just mean occupying a ruined country as hostile as say Afghanistan or Vietnam. Nobody is or will be a winner in this mess. It pretty well exposes the UN and the rest of the world as people who will sit and watch a bully beat up on a smaller guy - that's not winning either.

Putin isn't the only one backed into a corner (he isn't really but I'll go with the false media narrative)...the DNC/Uniparty is actually the one backed into a corner...and even polling a hypothetical war scenario isn't saving them. A lot of moving pieces.

The free world let out a collective sigh of relief when when the orange man boarded AF1 for the last time. That's just a fact.
The "free world" doesn't ban political parties or allow oligarchs to form their own private neo-Nazi and ultranationalist militias.

That may very well be true but our adversaries and traditional foes were raping themselves at the prospect of Biden being elected.

You really going to hang your hat on Biden as the answer to Trump? What a low bar we've set.

I know most people do not like his views, but he is correct on this. the only thing Ukraine is winning is the propaganda war. the Russians are falling back on their old tactics of bombing cities to oblivion. The Russians are linking up troops in the south and have cutoff the Ukrainians from the sea.

I said this a week or so ago and it still holds true today. The Ukrainians have to hold on in hopes that NATO will join the fight. How long will NATO and/or western Europe sit by while cities are bombed and 10's-100,000+ civilians are killed in the shelling? How many refugees will the NATO countries take before it becomes unmanageable and they must fight?

Right now the NATO strategy appears to be a war of attrition using Ukrainian troops (with NATO supplied weapons) to slowly reduce the Russian military, How long can Ukraine last doing this? Can they kill enough Russian troops to cause chaos and potentially a coup in Russia? While all these questions are fascinating to me, we have to realize that while we wait for answers to all of this both Russians and Ukrainian kids are dying for no reason.
And the answer is for a bunch more Russian and now NATO kids to die?

No offense to Ukraine or Ukranians but I wouldnt trade any non elected US citizen or soldier for one of theirs.

It's a war of attrition for Ukraine because that is all that is involved. The US/NATO has nothing to do with that.

The only other option Ukrainians have to fighting at this point is capitulation. And based on Russias history they arent kind to Ukrainians or people they conquer, so capitulation is no guarentee the dying or suffering will stop.

At least in the Iraq War (as faulty as it was) the US government laid out what it thought was the justification for the invasion beforehand.

Imagine if Bush had got on TV and said, "Wait until a few months after we invade. Then you'll see why we did it." How dumb would that sound?

Putin laid out his reasoning, he's been laying it out for 8 years now.

Where did I say anything about Biden. I said the free world was glad to be rid of Trump.

Anyone that approves of the targeting of Russian civilians with economic warfare out of one side of their mouths while attacking Russia for civilian casualties in Ukraine out of the other is a hypocrite. Especially while they lambast Russia for having a "corrupt", "unelected" leader. Nothing speaks of justice like taking it to civilians living under a dictatorship, am I right?

It's not hypocritical to apply sanctions that hurt the population as a whole in hopes that they will rise up against a leader who threatened the rest of the world into inaction by stating he has nukes and he knows how to use them. What's happening to Russians with sanctions is far gentler and kinder than what their own people did to Russians under communism. The person responsible for and completely able of keeping his people comfortable is Putin.

Swear I saw Revelations beast of seven heads in the toilet this morning after agreeing with Huner.

I like Huner even if I don't agree with him a lot of the time. It's sometimes agreeing with our lawyers and luther that's really getting disturbing.
