Ward to race at Martinsville!

Ward Burton will return to the Nextel Cup Series next weekend at Martinsville Speedway behind the wheel of the #4 Morgan McClure Racing Chevy. Burton will be fitted for his driver's seat on Monday. The team would like to test with Burton on Wednesday or Thursday at New River Valley Speedway in Radford, Va., a .416-mile oval track similar to Martinsville.(Sporting News NASCAR Wire Service)(10-15-2006)

Ward is a stiff. his brother got all the talent, both on and off the track.

I always thought Ward was a good little racer, to accomplish what he did when his best ride was at Bill Davis Racing. Not everyone can say they've won at Daytona and Darlington, but he did, again, driving for BDR.
