Have we beaten a favorite, won a big game, since Warlick took over? I don't think so. We did beat Stanford this year, at home, but Stanford was down this year. Holly and the program need this win pretty badly. We're not a full strength, to be sure--but we are strong enough to win it, and it would be good to win it. We need the exposure of getting to the Final Four again; it will help with recruiting if prospects can see we a truly a big dog again. We need to get some swagger back, and getting back to the F4 is the best way to do it. This team has fought hard this year, and is tougher than recent Vol teams. Let's go represent.

In tonight's game, I hope the LVs don't play like they did against SC in the SEC Championship game. In the 2nd half of that game we had no offense or defense.

If they win today it'll be the biggest win to date of Holly's tenure. I hope they do it. And I hope they keep on doing it.

We've beaten 9 of 13 ranked teams played this year, but a W tonight would be the sweetest. It'll take everybody's A-game, including the freshmen, so I hope they come out swinging. GLV!

we match up better with Maryland more than USC Jr. they are physical inside so Bash and Cierra need to keep their composure and stay our of foul trouble. As for their guards Mass, Draya and company need to stay in front of them and prevent dribble drives to the hole. Mass need a big shooting night and if everyone else to their capabilities, we are good.

This will be the first time she's played a favorite in the tournament. Both of her NCAA losses have been to lesser seeds. Given how amazing the Lady Vols have looked in the tournament, Maryland's 27 game win streak, and the way Frese coached circles around her a year ago, I love Holly's chances tonight. We are truly lucky to have her....

I had to check twice to make sure who posted this.
It's either sarcasm or you've hijacked Darth's account. I vote for the former.

Holly has never won a big game like this. And, it really doesn't matter to me if we win or lose as long as she gives a good effort and gets her team to give a good effort. Then, may the best team win. Carpe Diem.

I'll add this: If she gets this group to the Final Four, I'm on the bandwagon. This is the first game tournament game that will require some masterful coaching. Hopefully they're finally due to play a good game....

Stanford might have been down this year but they were good enough to be the only team to beat UConn this year. If you don't like CHW, then you don't like her but the problem is for people in this category, you just don't want to face the facts. She has 30 wins this year, co-SEC champions and is missing her 6'3" and 6'6" C's plus her 6'2" W and people still want to criticize or say she can't win the big game and UT only had the 2nd hardest schedule in the country this year ... SMH.

I want the good effort, but it does matter if they win or lose, especially to me. Winning can affect your recruitment and the mentality of your team. Can you imagine what it means to beat the number one seed in your region and make it to the final four?

Half time UConn(1) vs Dayton(7) and UConn is down 1 ... if they lost, should Geno be fired for losing to a higher seed? Teams don't get this far in the tournament if they are not talented. Anyone can win if they can hit shots. Dayton is lighting it up from the field and Gonzaga with their 6'4", 6'5" and 6'6" post players is a team built for the tourney and were better that an 11 seed. But now I understand why Dayton beat KY (2) and how the score was over 100 points

You were saying? Look at how UConn came out in the second half versus how Tennessee came out of their second half against Gonzaga.

Great coaches make halftime adjustments.....
