Last night, we had a TD drive that looked straight out of 2022. We had Kentucky on their heels, and they didn’t even have time to get a defensive call in. I know you never want quick 3 and outs, but I think we’ve got to put more of an emphasis on going warp speed like last year. There are so many benefits and it can put you at huge advantage catching the defense not prepared. Hopefully we see this more often through the remainder of the season.

Exactly! I thought it was funny that the game ended in our hands because of a KY. player laying down to stop the clock.It resulted in a 10 sec. runnoff and they ended the game!

Kentucky was not ready for that tempo. It took a visible toll on their players and started forcing multiple fake injuries. Running at that speed creates a definite advantage. It just needs to be executed the right way so that it doesn't lead to short possessions and putting our defense right back on the field after a punt.
