There has been a lot of it around this disaster and misinformation FLIES based on completely AI generated images like this:

Somebody is lying.. According to Newsweek:

So one can believe that or go straight to FEMA

It is illegal to redirect funds from the DRF for other purposes.

SSR distributed 640M to communities that had an influx of migrants. Meanwhile DRF is allocated more than $20B

This stuff is petty easily looked up.

I'm not saying it isn't happening, nor do I believe for one picosecond that the government wouldn't do shady **** (as they have innumerable times in the past). As you said, I am not on the ground there. My question to you or whoever is and is experiencing it is, is it an isolated "one or two guys acting like a warlord" type thing or is it organized, deliberate, and coming from somewhere higher?" Because those are two different things imo.
