In Knoxville, two items that were up for bid were a Bruce Pearl signed basketball and a UT football helmet signed by Fulmer and Chavis. I found it interesting to see the lack of bids and apathy towards the basketball...even the auctioneer metioned that this time last year it would have gone for twice as much no problem.
Anyway the bballs listed price was $100 but he had to start at $50 and it ended up selling for $110 while the helmet was far more popular and went for $270 after starting at $100. Just another example of how fickle vol fans are when Fulmer and Chavis were more popular than Pearl.
