Probably looking to set up a lawsuit against the university for interfering with his NIL agreement with Spyre Sports, in an effort to try to spin away from the exorbitant cash demand that his handlers felt he was entitled to.

The university and their exchange needs to negotiate these deals from a position of strength, these are not employment contracts with the university or contracts to play football, they are NIL deals that allow you to market your name, image and likeness and pocket what you generate from your fame, success and notoriety on the athletic field of play. Having caved on a number of difficult renegotiations, Nico Suave probably assumed the university and the exchange would fold here as well before Orange and White and the portal opening again.

It is very easy money for the athlete but it's not a bottomless pit to throw money from the money tree at.

It seems like these negotiations were going on back to Dec which was 3 and a half months ago. When have you ever heard of an athlete negotiation taking that long?
