What was up with the crowd? I was watching at home and I could hear a pin drop in that place.

The team has played horribly at TBA, not a lot to cheer about. At least they weren't booing.

People is getting tired of paying good money to watch a bunch of talented players underperform on their home court. It's becoming a disgrace to this university. I hope we don't make the tourn. We do not deserve to play in it, much less, the NIT either. Pearl has quit and the team followed him a long time ago.

is it just me or if we one by one most people would be praising god and saying what a wonderful day it is; love how people get their panties in a wad over one game but thats just my 2 :twocents:

Beating Mississippi State by one at home when Sidney hardly plays would still be an absolute disgrace.

I hate our fanbase for usually 95 percent of every home game. I don't want to hear nothing to cheer for crowd either. It's called making TBA and electric fun enviroment. some need to have some fun and loosen up a bit. Several around me didn't get up off their rears until it was time to leave...grief...just watched the replay of the game and jimmiy dykes commented on how sorry our crowd was, "atleast the students are making some noise"....good grief...I gave my all today for TN...Go Vols...beating a dead horse I know..

The crowd today was solid--attendance over 20k with a good noise level. Couch potatoes need to stop complaining and get their arses into TBA

I don't know what game you were at but the 20k plus didn't even come close to making noise until the last five minutes and as usual the players & coaches have to beg people to get off there rear ends and make some noise. Great for the fans to show now people need enjoy the place and create some atomsphere....GoVols...

I guess most got on volnation before the game and read from the Pearl haters that most fans want Pearl fired yesterday.Hard to bring excitement when the majority of fans want their coach fired and hate his guts and dawg him day after day after day after day like a espn rerun.............just sayin.....:popcorn:

Making shots on back to back possessions, blocking shots, fast break conversions...just a few things that tend to energize a crowd. Coincindentally, these are things that Tennessee does not do at TBA.

Maybe they should concentrate on....coaching and playing and not worrying about the fans making noise. They play smart basketball, the fans will cheer. It's not a hard concept.

Tennessee is good enough to beat MSU by 20 at 8 in the morning in a locked high school gym. The crowd should not be necessary. If you need a sixth man to beat a team like MSU then your other 5 have some serious issues.

I have to record the games and FFWD through them to keep the impulse to vomit at a minimum. :disappointed:

It's called bad basketball. Get used to it because it's going to be around a couple of years even if Bruce were coming back...which he's not. Next year will be rough.
