washingtons freshman star jake locker gets hit badly.. looked like a hit to the head. taken off the field on a stretcher. fsn hasnt given any updates on his status.

hopefully he's okay, a very talented and tough kid thats been taking big hits all year and is one of very few bright spots for the struggling team. i missed when this occurred but apparently there was some limited movement while he was taken off the field.

very emotional game.. "activity" after every play. about 300 personal foul flags went flying after several punches were thrown. 3 players have been ejected now...

its 16-10 oregon state and this is painful to watch..

I saw the replay of the hit and it didn't look to be that hard, no headsnap or anything violent looking. He must have gotten hit just in the right spot. Hope he turns out ok.

locker is okay. released from the hospital and on his way back to the stadium.

Colt Brennan just took a much worse hit to the head, but walked off the field after laying motionless for a few minutes. No record for him tonight it looks like. The LB looked like he was headhunting Brennan, helmet to helmet.

wow. this is such a crazy game. locker comes back to the stadium to big applause.

yvensen bernard of oregon state was VERY OBVIOUSLY down and maybe in the endzone, then lost the ball. was ruled a fumble and washington snapped it VERY QUICK so it couldnt be reviewed. the stadium has gone nuts with booing for several minutes now...

washington drives but then turns over on downs and oregon state will escape...
