Colquitt Co vs North Gwinnett. Rush Propst has already said he is meeting with Pruitt and Saban next week. I think Bama has their 10th coach already hired except for title.

Both schools have D1 talent to watch on GPB at 7:30 and pay attention to JJ Peterson, top linebacker in the nation.

Rumor is JJ will go with Propst.

Isn't this exactly the thing that the NCAA reg prohibits?

He has to be a coach on the field. It’s legit if he is on the field. Off the field or analyst roles would require a 2 year wait period before you could sign one of his players.

Yeah, I could never use the word amazing and Propst in the same breath. Those don’t sit. You got the “A” right, you would think after getting second chance after second chance, he would change. Rumor out of Colquitt is he will be WR coach and a lot of folks are upset he was focused on that instead of the game. Him talking about his future Before the game instead of the game on the radio has them believing he wasn’t focused on the game/team instead of only himself.

Well, duh, that IS Propst. It will always be him. He’s the greatest offensive mind in football, not just HS. Don’t believe me? Just ask him, he will tell you lol. I like a confident coach but you can be confident and be a decent human being and treat others right. Those don’t have to be independent.

He is a good OC, a very good HS HC, not sure how good a WR coach he would be. Should be fine but he doesn’t like being second fiddle. He will speak his mind, I wouldn’t want to be Helton’s ear, it will be sore. He will think he can do it better. Look at past interviews, he is quick to criticize college offenses of which he is asked.

Pruitt was hired and given a chance by Propst just like Jones was with DeBord. DeBord did a lot better than some give him credit. It took Scott for some to see it.

Propst can do well, I would worry only about negative recruiting on any prospects he is involved with and how well he will work within the staff. That’s it, he will do well with X’s and O’s.

DeBord did not belong in the SEC calling plays. He doesnt get a free pass just because Scott was worse. DeBord had Dobbs remember. As far as Propst goes, the hire fits right in with the way the rest of the staff is being put together. Friends with recruiting benefits...

Debord did a great job at UT. Offense averaged nearly 38 pts a game. Only team to hold us down was Bama to 10 pts.

If you are going to dog someone, please come with some facts.

Not sure what game you are watching or what kind of coach you think you are!

And this is why coaches do that cliche' coach-speak everyone claims to hate.

It's his life and career, of course he is thinking about it. Only a fool wouldn't be. Life is full of times when you have to deal with more than one issue at a time.
