Yeah I read that on Sunday, he's a true leader.

A Leader he is. He really throws a good ball. He always seems to throw it to a spot where only a Vol Receiver can catch it and doesn't kill the team with mistakes.

Throw vs UAB

Throws vs KY

Throw vs ND

I agree he wont make the big mistake to get you beat...

Let's all remember the year of the national championship we kicked a winner to beat Syracuse
Took an act of god to beat Arkansas.

It takes a lot of skill and a little luck to get to the top of the Mountain..

And now just like then we have a QB that makes the smart play. Now all we need is a little luck and maybe another act of god to get to the promised land..

Dont panic yet y'all. let the critics do that..

remember it was the same critics back then that said we were in a rebuilding year...

DONT PANIC!!!!!!!

This Guy is a class act from the word go.
I am 100% behind him as a starter.
He is cool and calm and preforms on and off the field

Amen, well said!!!! Glad to have him on board next year as a Grad Asst. Coach. He will gain respect from his teamates,coaches and fans for that "genuine" act. All hats off! :good:

Sarge, I thought he was going to look at coaching elsewhere.

He said that he was going to look at some other opportunities and that it might be good for him to learn another system.

Rick has been offered a GA position for next year but like Casey he will probably go somewhere else since he'll want to learn a different system if he's serious about coaching as a profession.

I think when all is said and done, 5-10 years down the road, wherever they go... we'll be proud to have the Clausens as alumni.

I guess you wish Clausen had stayed at LSU. I don't blame you

Threw it into the dirt?

If it were Ainge, he'd have tried to toss it to some kid and sailed it into the parking lot.

Ainge can't handle the pressure. Not sayign he won't be able to some day. But right now, oof, awful.

THAT must have been the defensive strategy of the Gators last year in the fourth quarter.

How'd that work out for you again?

An SEC East title with wins against Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Ole Miss says otherwise.

The 17th can not get here fast enough, can it? Going to be exciting. I'm still trying to find tickets. I'm too old and crotchety to sit on the student side. I love the co-eds, mind you, but I've had enough og standing for 3 hours. I want to sit back, relax, and enjoy. Probably going to end up on the couch for it or at my favorite watering hole.

Hate to tell you Lawgator, but it was gramatically correct. It doesn't take an honors graduate to figure that out. :birgits_giggle:

is = singular

their = plural

The problem was referring initially only to "Florida." He would have been okay with "The Florida Gators are going to get their asses beat," or "Florida is going to get its ass beat."

But no way is that amalgamation of singular and plural from the original post going to cut it in the 10th grade. At least not down here.

I'd argue with you slightly on that one. Maybe he should have used "its" instead of "their" but the bottom line is that no matter what version of the verb "to be" that you choose or what conjugation . . .

Florida (be, am, is, are, was, were, being, been) going to get a beatdown. :lol:
