With a double double against Mercer, Stokes will tie the greatest player to ever wear an orange jersey, Bernard King, for the most double doubles in a season with 22. Pretty amazing as that record is almost 40 years old. Stokes has developed into one heck of a player. Sure wish he would stay one more season and develop his jump shot. He could become a first round pick if he does.
Come quite a ways since you started this thread huh?

So what you're saying is maybe we shouldn't declare players a bust before they've even played a full year?
And just to clarify...so you're saying the staff has done a great job developing Stokes?
I would say that I read the op to say that at that point of his career he hadn't proved to be a top 10 recruit. And I would say a lot of folks would have agreed with that. Like I said u work hard to be cute. Do you tho
I couldn't find the other post that the OP made, but he called Stokes soft and a tulip. It wasn't meant to start a riot, just kind of how far Stokes has come.
No reason for hostility, everyone should be damn happy tonight, GBFO!

In fairness to Stokes, he was 17 and a mid-term when he started here. He has to be one of the youngest juniors in the NCAA.
