How he bullies people has always amazed me. Maybe the strongest guy I've seen.

I'm young though, don't flame me.

With a double double against Mercer, Stokes will tie the greatest player to ever wear an orange jersey, Bernard King, for the most double doubles in a season with 22. Pretty amazing as that record is almost 40 years old. Stokes has developed into one heck of a player. Sure wish he would stay one more season and develop his jump shot. He could become a first round pick if he does.

No flames - just one word. Shaq.

If you want to go with guys Jarnell's size - Karl Malone.

No flames here either. One of the strongest players top to bottom in the country. IMO

Same with Josh Richardson. He has always been great at defense, but man, he has turned it up and really fun to watch. He is out for blood it seems like.

So what you're saying is maybe we shouldn't declare players a bust before they've even played a full year?

Maybe when players come in overhyped as one and done players , they garner a little more criticism when they don't play up to the expectations. Kind of like the team was being criticized this earlier season by most of us, including yourself Mr. Perfect. Before allowing the season to play out.

And just to clarify...so you're saying the staff has done a great job developing Stokes?

I would say that I read the op to say that at that point of his career he hadn't proved to be a top 10 recruit. And I would also say a lot of folks would have agreed with that. Like I said u work hard to be cute. Do you tho

I couldn't find the other post that the OP made, but he called Stokes soft and a tulip. It wasn't meant to start a riot, just kind of how far Stokes has come.

No reason for hostility, everyone should be damn happy tonight, GBFO!

No hostility or riot. Just heed your own advise before calling out others

You have the wrong person. I have never once called Stokes a "tulip". I said he was not playing like a top 10 recruit and I was right ( back then)

In fairness to Stokes, he was 17 and a mid-term when he started here. He has to be one of the youngest juniors in the NCAA.

Totally agree. He has come a long ways and is fun to watch. I called him one of my favorite all time Vols. He has improved his game 100% since he arrived. Kudos to CCM and staff for developing him
