Watching OSU and OU

Would be happy to take either of these guys as the next UTHC. Seems like OU has staled on Stoops sort of how we did with Fulmer. This guy could do a lot with an SEC team. All he would need is a good DC. Mike Gundy has done well at OSU. Could be a great move. UT is definitely a step up from there whereas OU to UT is more of a lateral move.

thoughts on these guys?

Disclaimer: Obviously this is if something falls through with the Grude....

The thought on each of them is that they want a raise. Gundy played QB at OSU and has coached there off and on since early 90s. Neither will leave.

I totally agree, more so on Gundy. Watching aTm beat bama, proved to me that a spread type offense could work in SEC. Wouldn't mind seeing a coach like Gundy come to TN. Let them hire a good DC and let the chips fall where they may.

nevermind on stoops. his shirt today is awful.....

but on a serious note, didnt know that about gundy, i thought he was one of our top targets?

but even if we dont get either of these guys, which do you think would be more successful in the SEC?

Stoops. I swear to god 5 million and show him pictures of the Dogwoods blooming and he would bail Norman in a heartbeat.

Stoops would be the best hire...ahead of Gruden. He has done it with the same in state talent level that we have. He could do it in the SEC, right here. Stoops should be the number one target.

We should certainly approach stoops and fisher and be ready with an offer for each if the G man falls through.
