I have to admit - I didn't really see Pittman's success coming. We'd heard a lot about how he is a good recruiter, but he was a career O-line coach until taking the Arky job.

He's done a fantastic job at hiring assistants, particularly his OC and DC. Briles and Odom are good coordinators who had track records of success at that job at other schools.

Only in stature. Pittman immediately admitted his team was outplayed & he was outcoached (“he” was). You don’t have to coach football to see BP had a GREAT game plan. You’d never hear Fulmer admit any of that.

Arky decided in the 2nd half to feed the ball to the guy Mizzou St couldn’t stop. Sometimes the simplest game plan is what works.

He is one helluva CEO. He gets the most out of his talent.
