One thing occurs to me, both of those teams would be totally dominant in college basketball today.

I would have been great if they could have pulled it out one year... You don't see groups like that often.

It depends on how you define panning out. He played in the League for over a decade and was generally a double digit scorer.


Come on, he was one of the most dominating players in the country.

You had to expect more out of him in the pro's.

Not really. As a Bob Knight fanatic, I probably watched at least eighty percent of the games Calbert played in college. His game was perfect for the motion offense. However, he lacked the explosiveness to be a dominant pro.

to this day, i still can not beleive either the 93 or 94 IU basketball teams did not win a National Championship.

an Alan Henderson injury stands between Knight and another title.
