Can anybody remember the last SEC QB not named Manning who has amounted to anything in the NFL?

Forgot he did anything notable other than marry Heather Kozar.

Still somewhat lackluster other than I think a decent season or two (I know he had it tough on an expansion team). Anyone else?

Jay Cutler hasn't exactly run the Offense to perfection... but... his OL is more to blame.

When your OL gives up now 2 concussions to your QB your OL has a definite problem.

Cutler is decent, but he got knocked out in the first half, so I'm not sure you can blame the game on him.

I feel sorry for the #3 guy.

It's like the Charge of the Light Brigade. Poor guy.

They're really all spread out.

Last year, in order of Passer Rating...

Purdue
Southern Miss
NC State
Cal
Miami (Ohio) (Big Ben)
Tennessee
Virginia (Schaub)
Eastern Illinois (Romo)
Michigan
Northern Iowa (Warner)
Ole Miss
Syracuse
Delaware (Flacco)
Purdue (Orton)
Auburn
USC
ECU (Garrard)
Texas
Utah
Boston College (Ryan)
Vandy
Michigan (Henne)
Boston College (Hasselbeck)

Another USC on there for Sanchez... Georgia for Stafford as the 'starter'... Oklahoma with Bradford starting...

He actually QB'd the team to the playoffs in '02 and, according to Wikipedia, is the Browns all-time leader in passing efficiency.

But other than that one season, I've gone back 25 or so years and couldn't find a single SEC QB that's done anything of note that I know of, aside from the Manning Bros.

I started thinking about all this watching Cutler suck it up before getting injured, and realizing that Ryan Mallett will probably be a first round pick and the high probability that he will suck in the NFL.

That's what I'm saying -- That was the last time SEC qb's performed well in the league? I'm just kind of surprised, that's all.
