And although I thought the BCS #2 ranking was way off, Florida is looking like the second best team in the country. If only we could have closed the deal on them earlier in the season....

This is just my opinion but I don't think Florida is the 2nd best team in the country. I know that's their ranking right now but I don't think they'll finish there.

USCe is just showing how difficult a road win is in the SEC. There are no easy road games. And... it isn't over yet.

Florida is a really good team. I think most people, including myself, underestimated their team. Driskel is not the best passing QB, but he really makes plays with his feet and hits enough passes to keep D's honest. Their D is really good and extremely fast. I think they very well could be the 2nd best team in the country.

I wish we would run that TE screen play they ran to Burton with CP being the motion man, especially with teams focusing on CP as the most dangerous offensive threat we have. Would be nice to see Rivera running free behind Thomas and Tiny in the open field.

I don't know...who would you put in front of them? Their schedule sets up nice for them and I wouldn't be surprised if they run the table going into the SECCG. UGA and FSU has the talent to beat them but I don't see it happening, but, it could. UF's defense is no joke and will keep them in any game, including Bama if it comes to that. I am not sure who I would put in front of UF right now. I am not sold on Oregon and don't think they can play with the physical nature of the elite SEC teams. UF is getting better by the week

And it wasn't long ago that people around here were talking about how Florida was "down" this year and that we would beat them.

This is why I wanted Muschamp to come here. I have to think we'd be further along than we are now.

Agree on all of your points. But I just don't think they win the SEC. That's why I don't think they'll finish 2nd.

Florida is beginning to move the ball more effectively in the second half but the score, at half time, should have been Chicken Nation-3, Reptilian Horde-0. South Carolina absolutely killed themselves with three first half turnovers; they set Florida up for 2, 1 and 29 yd. drives, respectively. Muschamp had good reason to be thoroughly ticked off at the end of the first half.

Florida knows how to win. That ability trumps raw "talent" anyday. They are not the second best team talent wise. But I would take them over anyone in the top 10 except Bama. They just play solid football and don't mess up much. -- 15 is a DOG. I want everybody in my secondary to play like that. -- Their offense is not explosive. But they are well drilled. If they had our wideouts..........

Maybe you are right. I still think Muschamp is a DB and I hate his sideline antics. He looks like a lunatic. He might be a good/great coach, but I am not convinced yet.

Driskel is a very dynamic play maker. He breaks down a defense and has great speed. He has an opportunity to be a special QB if he builds on this year. They are a very tough team to defend with the ball in his hands.

Muschamp walked into a good situation. They have around 20 Rivals 6.0 and 6.1 rated players. We have one- CP.

Well, next week USCe will take all their frustration anger out on us. They will now have to prove a point next week & guess who that team gets it?

I said back earlier in the season that the Gators were better than a lot were giving them credit for..... They're tough

This.

Better coaching by far, but that's not saying much. Better football players on both lines, LBs, secondary, and kicking. Innovative offensive schemes for the run game. Much more versatile players.
