Watson had ZERO assists

just means he is due for a big game. He steps up when needed, like yesterday he hit his ft's down the stretch to hold off georgia, he does just enough to get us a win, and thats good enough for me...

Here's another stat that gave me pause:

Rebounds (total for year)

Lofton; 79
Wingate; 82

If Watson has a bad game then Lofton has a big game. Vice Versa.

Our guards are some of the best in the country.

Interesting stat from your UGA game is that only 8 of your 34 rebounds were on the offensive side of the court. Does anyone know what the percentage is for the season? I'd be curious about that in case you have a game with a bad shooting % night.

34% of Rebounds are Offensive Rebounds

as opposed to Florida's which is 29%

I just realized that.

The real beauty of this team is that we do not ride the back of any ONE player. When player X is doubled up, player Y, Z etc. get the job done. We've had so many different players of the game this year it's incredible.

"It's an amazing team," Tennessee Coach Bruce Pearl said. "You've got just enough of everything, just enough. What pieces, and you've got to look at the chemistry."
-From The Tennesseean

This says it all for me about this team. You look at them and you think, "OK this is a house of cards that could fall any second now". But they just keep winning. One guy's having a bad night, another's got his back. Team. And chemistry. Although that's what team really is.

...just enough of everything,just enough...

These guys amaze me!

Early in the year, the wins came from different players stepping up in different games. This hasn't changed - what has changed is our expectation level.

Imagine if Bradshaw had a game with no hustle points. We be freaking out wondering what happened to him. At the beginning of the year, we were amazed at his hustle points

Expectation creep - it's a wonderful thing

Surprising. Do you have a link to that? I'd love to see some season-long statistics.
