Nice day for the SEC!

Definitely one of the biggest wins for the Big Orange in recent history against #7 Texas,

And the Cats knock off #4 Louisville and their coach who shall remain nameless!

Louisville is so far from being the 4th best team in the country....

Thanks for the Congrats and right back at ya. I have a hard time giving a congrats to UK during basketball season. Not because they don't deserve it, just because winning is common for them.

Louisville being #4 is as big a fraud as you'll ever see. Kentucky looked like a completely different team that I watched in the RCA Dome last Saturday against Indiana.

Thanks McCats, good win for your Cats but UofL is one of the most overrated teams in the country right now. Still with that said it was still a great day for the SEC when we can knock of two top 10 teams. :)

Excellent showing, Vols!! Clearly, you are as underrated as Texas is overrated, right?

We look forward to playing you on 1/21 and 2/22 ...

Its too early to tell but we're playing pretty good basketball right now, both you guys might be looking up at UT this year....Like I said too early to tell but it could happen if we continue to play well...Anyone know the last time we were ranked?

I would agree with that.

Based on Eddie Munster, I mean Billy Donavan's recent history, I am not ready to hand the Gators the SEC east quite yet. UT just might have a shot (I have been waiting on a team like this to come through since I moved to Lex), and trust me when I say that UK will be a different team once Morris comes back. Even if his averages are on par with last year, he will be twice as good as what the Cats have at center right now.

He is not the savior, but he will allow players to go back to their natural positions, and provide stability in the middle. With the two big men they are playing right now, UK is basically playing 4 on 5 against better competition. Just don't write them off quite yet.

Florida is still better.

We'll see. Coach Munster is 6-16 against Kentucky, which ain't bad when you look at the rest of the SEC's record against the Cats.

Just saying do not write these guys off. Two of their losses, Indiana and Iowa, were aided by the lack of an inside presence. (Indiana was clearly the better team).

It has also allowed teams to pay closer attention to the guards without worrying about the post presence. Mark my words, they will be a different team when Morris is back.

By the way NC, never gave you props for that big win in Lex. Good job man.

I had nothing to do with it! But it was a nice win for the young Heels. My two teams have won 4 of 5 against UK not bad...hopefully UF can pull one out in Rupp as well.

I don't see that as too much of a stretch.

Maybe not, but Florida hasn't beaten UK at Rupp since 1998. In addition, Florida has 3 other wins in 30 trips to Rupp: 1985, 1988, and 1989. Their only other victory in Lexington occurred in 1974.

Again, it's not a stretch, I agree. But, history is not on the Gators' side.
